Northridge at Piper Estates: Quiet living near metropolitan, Village West amenities
Northridge at Piper Estates offers the ideal combination of quiet living paired with nearby metropolitan amenities, according to its marketing team. Located just minutes from the Village West retail and entertainment complex, this thoughtfully designed neighborhood offers everything today's homebuyer demands.
"With gently rolling hills, densely wooded common areas, outstanding
housing values and an amenity package beyond compare, it's no wonder
our sales activity is so strong," said Melanie Jurgens, who markets the
community for Graham Welch & Associates. "And with the recent
opening of our neighborhood pool and playground, more and more people
are deciding that Northridge is the place to live."
The pool and playground complex contains a zero-depth junior
Olympic-size pool, cabana house, sun shelter and water feature. There
are an additional 98 acres of common area green space located
throughout the nearly 500-acre development.
Northridge was honored earlier this year with two MAME awards,
including Best Developer, Western Wyandotte Investors LLC and Best
Community Overall.
A new model home row is located on Northridge Drive, immediately across
from the pool. With five furnished showcase homes from several of
Kansas City's finest builders, visitors will be able to tour several of
the many designs available. The Chadwick Homes and Apex Homes models
are fully finished and open daily. Model homes from Stonebrook Homes,
JanRick Construction and Highland Park Builders are rapidly nearing
completion.
Homes available in Northridge range in price from the $190,000s to more
than $400,000. There are 17 homes in various stages of completion
ranging from move-in ready to foundation. Construction of an additional
four homes is scheduled to begin soon. In addition to the model row
builders, other builders with homes available now include Oak Tree
Homes, Prieb Homes, Tennyson Construction, Built by Design and Larson
Homes. Certain homesites are open to outside builders, with developer
approval.
"There are more than 40 different home designs within Northridge
already. Homesites available now include lake-view walk-outs, walk-outs
and daylights that back to or adjoin woods and greenspace," Jurgens
said. "Standard homesites of various sizes, including more than a half
acre, are also available. Whether you want a two-story, 1 1/2 -story,
reverse 1 1/2 -story, ranch or split-level, we have both the ideal
design and homesite to meet your needs."
The Piper Unified School District campus directly adjoins the
neighborhood. With the elementary, middle and high schools in one
nearby location, both parents and students enjoy the close proximity.
"Northridge homeowners enjoy easy access to everywhere in the Kansas
City area, from downtown to KCI to the College Boulevard corridor. From
a more local perspective, the Kansas Speedway, Nebraska Furniture Mart,
Cabela s, Dave & Buster s, Legends 14 Cinema, Great Wolf Lodge and
Community America Ballpark are just down the street. Northridge also
meets the residency requirements for Unified Government employees,"
Jurgens said.
Northridge will feature three entries during the Parade of Homes, which
continues through Oct. 8. These and other available homes will be open
11 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
Current and prospective Northridge homeowners, as well as members of
the real estate industry, are invited to a luncheon on Saturday, Oct.
7, from noon to 3 p.m. Lunch will be catered by Backyard Burgers and
the event will be held at the recently opened pool and playground
complex, located across from the on-site sales center.
